The role of the Small Agency Advisory Committee is to advise and inform the association and its standing committees of jurisdiction who in turn are charged to create policies and positions which in whole or in part address the needs of smaller agencies as necessary. Advisory Committee members are appointed by the President of the association based upon their background and the expertise of a given member as regards the work, needs and concerns of smaller agencies. The Advisory Committee generally has remained small at a peak of between 20-25 individuals. The Advisory Committee is NOT a policy making body. The Advisory Committee meets 3 times per year at NAHRO national meetings at times that do not conflict with our standing committees.
