Steven Molinari
Steven Molinari is a Policy Analyst on the Policy and Legislative Affairs team. He is also the Staff Liaison for NAHRO’s International Research and Global Exchange Committee, which focuses on promoting and sharing global exchanges of information in the fields of housing and community development. Steven’s role within NAHRO is to assist the committee in achieving their goals and also provide analysis of various statutory and regulatory policies that are made by the federal government. Steven continuously advocates for fully funded housing and community development programs that meet the needs of the country’s most vulnerable populations. His focus areas include homelessness, community development, and public housing.
In his previous role, Steven worked for the City of New York’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). During his time with HPD, Steven worked on implementing local housing policy and placing families experiencing homelessness into permanent housing. He holds a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from the City College of New York and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Binghamton University.
Steven is an avid traveler, decent cook, and a regional champion for the popular board game Settlers of Catan.
